Jen Benson

Jen Benson is proud to serve as President of the Alliance for Business Leadership (ABL). As the preeminent business voice in Massachusetts, championing issues such as the 2022 Climate and Clean Energy Bill and passing the Equal Pay Act in Massachusetts, Jen has continually grown ABL’s influence and impact to inspire solutions to economic and social challenges in the Commonwealth.

Since Jen became President, ABL has grown its reach in the corporate sector and increased its membership size by 40%. Similarly, ABL has expanded its programmatic offerings, now offering members a variety of opportunities to grow their networks and expand their voice on issues they care most about. As President, Jen has emphasized bringing diverse voices to the table, working to create a board that is as diverse as the public and business community in Massachusetts. She is proud to help businesses and organizations prioritize corporate social responsibility in today’s economy.

Jen has long been committed to public service and understands the crucial impact equity-centered public policy can have on our economy and communities. Before joining the Alliance for Business Leadership, Jen served 11 years in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, including as the House Chair of the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing. 

As a State Representative, Jen championed legislation to create greater accessibility to health care, worked to grow the renewable energy economy, expand voter accessibility, and promote affordable, efficient, and accessible public transportation. She served in leadership roles in federal and state organizations, such as Women in Government, Emerge Massachusetts, National Council of Legislators from Gaming States and the Workforce Investment Board. 

Today, Jen serves as the Executive Committee Chair of Transportation for Massachusetts (T4MA), a diverse coalition of more than 100 member and partner organizations with a stake in improving transportation across the Commonwealth. Jen also serves as a board member of the New England Plan Group.

While serving as State Representative, Jen earned her Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School as well as a certification in Management, Leadership, and Decisions Sciences. Jen received her Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Florida Atlantic University. On a typical day, you can find Jen riding in and out of downtown Boston on her e-bike or on public transportation, and bragging about her 3 adult children, 2 dogs, and husband, Brent.

Josselyn DeLeón-Estrada

Josselyn joined the Alliance for Business Leadership as the Director of Program, Policy, and Strategic Partnerships in March 2022. She brings over 3 years of public service experience at the local, state, and federal level. Most recently, Josselyn served as Senior Outreach Director for Congresswoman Lori Trahan. She previously worked as Legislative Aide to State Representative Christina Minicucci and Special Assistant to Former Mayor of Lawrence Dan Rivera.

Her passion for progressive politics and policies stems from her professional experience as a public servant as well as her lived experience as a Latina, a daughter of immigrants, and a first-generation college student. Josselyn was born and raised in Lawrence, MA. She graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor’s degree, double concentrating in Political Science and Latin American and Caribbean Studies.

Molly Bartlett

Molly is an accomplished non-profit and policy professional passionate about progressive advocacy. Before joining the Alliance for Business Leadership as Membership and Development Coordinator in 2022, Molly worked for six political races at the state and federal levels. She recently served as Field Director for Andrea Campbell’s mayoral campaign and as a Finance Consultant for Boston City Councilor Julia Mejia’s re-election campaign. For over five years, Molly has additionally acted as the Millennial Policy and Program Consultant to Fishing Partnership Support Services.

The drive to aid underserved populations fuels Molly’s personal and professional missions. At the University of Michigan, she earned bachelor’s degrees in political science and psychology with a concentration in crime and justice. During this time, she worked with Our Restorative Justice to research juvenile restorative justice programs and volunteered with inmates at the Washtenaw County Jail.

Molly was raised in the suburbs of Boston, and you can now find her around the city, reading the news and listening to true crime podcasts.
