ABL has three policy councils consisting of climate and energy, housing, and transportation. These councils are exclusively for members and serve as an intimate platform for public officials and policy experts to brief council members on legislation they are working on as well as new guidance and regulations impacting our environment, housing production, and transportation systems. Many policy council members have a deep interest or experience in climate technology, housing, and transportation, and we leverage their passion, expertise and influence to affect the implementation of smart policy in these issue areas.

Power Hour connects business leaders with in-demand public figures for networking and discussion. Past Power Hours have featured speakers, such as US Senator Elizabeth Warren, US Senator Ed Markey, Assistant Speaker Katherine Clark, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, Congresswoman Lori Trahan, Attorney General Maura Healey, and State Auditor Suzanne Bump.

ABL’s Summer Kickoff is our signature annual event where we invite our members, legislators, and partner organizations to join us in celebrating our accomplishments over the last year. This is primarily a networking event with a brief speaking program, featuring a special guest speaker.
